Product Details
Shared Harvest Moong Dal ( Green Gram) is chemical free, split moong beans without skin, highly nutritious and easy to digest. Owing to its green coloured skin it is called Green Gram. Moong dal protein is primarily composed of globulins, which are storage proteins, making up about 60% of the total protein. Other proteins include albumins (25%) and minor components like trypsin inhibitors and thiamine-binding proteins. This protein complex is rich in amino acids like leucine, phenylalanine, lysine, valine, isoleucine, and histidine but it is low in sulphur -containing amino acids, so it’s best to consume moong Dal with other Dals to get a complete amino acid profile. However , people do not consume same Dal every day. It contains many key nutrients such as folate, Vitamin B, Copper, Calcium, Iron, antioxidants etc.
Shared Harvest Yellow split moong dal (dhuli moong) is used to make a wide range of dishes, from savory comfort food to rich desserts. The mild, slightly sweet flavour and soft texture make it easy to digest and ideal for both everyday meals and special occasions.
